Why 3? Is it because we have 10 fingers... and 10 - 7 days = 3? (manicure formulae have always confused me).
I came to work with my weekend nails and had to resort to using a black permanent marker to fill in all the terrible chips...
At least they aren't as bad as one hand with no varnish, due to someone biting their nails; or worse, someone who doesn't have nail polish remover, who waits for the polish to remove itself!
(Typing this post has bumped up these nails to 6 day chippage! Urgh!!)
